It’s mind-bog­gling that a soci­ety pro­fess­ing moral demo­c­ra­t­ic supe­ri­or­i­ty around the world would stand by as Black and Lati­no chil­dren get pushed out of schools into what very like­ly will be an incar­cer­at­ed future.   1. If we require more tests, school­child­ren will learn more. If we let cor­po­ra­tions be legal “per­sons” they will be more com­pas­sion­ate. If we build more pris­ons, crime will go away. If we pro­hib­it alco­hol, every­one will stop drink­ing … oh, wait.…
